Been Too Long
I really am not very good at this. I take the pictures but fail when it comes to posting them. I'll maybe do a couple different posts - or just one. lol
These are from July 20th "or so" and Spin and Marty couldn't be looking better!

And Now - There's MORE!
So time kept marching on - and we had lots of events and growing things here in Bayville.
SO. They're BACK!!
On May 4, 2022, we planted some pretty dead looking banana trees. I wasn't hopeful (but I really was, because that is ME lol)
So - we watered and talked to them and on June 10, 2022, Spin started showing some signs of being alive!
And Marty (in the background) has NOTHING at this point.
This post has gotten LONG in size, so I will continue the story on a new blog post.

The Tale of Spin and Marty Comes to a Close
So the tale of Spin and Marty comes to a close for 2021. With any luck, they will both be back. They entertained and amazed us this year, but did NOT produce any heirs to the Banana Kingdom... so let's all hope they survive winter in the garage and proliferate in 2022!
Again, it got kind of boring as the photos basically all looked the same after their initial "amazingness". So I'll post a few that never got posted - and then the finale pictures!
Looking forward to The Adventures of Spin and Marty 2022!
All of the photos in this post were taken sometime between Sept. 1 and "the end"
Below are our relatives (I guess)
Bananas on the "Mother Tree" - From Whence We Came!
Overhead view - We're looking droopy, for sure!
So. NOTHING to do with Spin OR Marty... just a cool pic of a Red-tailed Hawk.
Work with me, people!
THE END
Marty in orange; Spin in White
Happy Wintering in the Garage! Spin and Marty! See you in 2022

Then and Now
So I said I was going to do this last week. Well - things get away from you from time to time. So here's the comparison from the first "planted" picture back in May - and today's (or nearly today's picture)
